Hail Ahoy!

We had a brief shower of tinier than pea-sized ice cubes today. We've had these every winter that we've lived in San Jose (the first winter we were here it once rained bigger blocks but DS was still napping in the afternoons then and missed it). But this was the first time he actually stepped outside to experience it. It was way too brief for me to snap a photo and by the time we came back in and towelled off most of it had melted off our patio. But it was a fun, slightly prickly and very memorable experience.
