Fiddler at Rockhound Place has picked FunSchooling.net for the Butterfly Award! I never...ever...expected this. I'm speechless. So touched. Very grateful. And just a tad apprehensive that I need to live up to this honor LOL.
I believe this award works like a chain letter (which I used to be notorious for breaking as a teenage, clueless chain letter receiver). So, each recipient actually has to pass it on. Here's how:
First, link to the person who gave you the award.
Next, post the graphic (which has been grammatically corrected by Hornblower who writes a really neat blog by the way. Then pass it on to 10 others.
Many of the blogs I read and love already seem to have received this award. And I'm not exactly a prolific reader of blogs so it looks like I'm gonna go back to my notorious past and choose just 5 blogs to pass this on to. Hopefully, all the bad luck I've courted breaking chain letters doesn't decide to gang up on me just now.
In alphabetical blog name order...
- A Brave Writer's Life in Brief...for founding the Brave Writer curriculum and writing an inspiring blog.
- Back2BBGS...for helping me relive the joy of my school days.
- Greenridge Chronicles...for being the funniest, most creative user of strikethroughs.
- The Joy of Learning...I love quotations and anyone who puts together a good bunch in one pretty place is a winner in my book.
- Whimsy Way House of Learning and Play...for an excellent collection of free curricula links and heartwarming updates on homeschooling a 5-year-old.
And now...off to celebrate with my favorite Haagen Dazs coffee ice cream.
Note: I've edited the award image. It was originally this.
Finally, I'm renowned for something: strikethroughs!
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a small talent, but one I've cultivated carefully and thoughtfully.
Thanks very much, by the way!
