We Just Had To Get Out...

Boredom, cold, and my own sedentary tendencies had to go...at least for one day. So we headed out to a park I'd discovered a few weeks ago, nestled just a 10 minute walk away from our home.

It was still cold but we at least had a few hours of nice strong sunshine so I had to make the most of it.

Kiddo and I decided we wanted to identify a few plants that grew in our neighborhood too so we brought our camera along. We're pulling out the field guides later today but meanwhile, if you can help me identify some of the trees/ plants in this post, I'd be most grateful :)
